Floors With Water and Oil Base Finish

In order to keep your floors looking good please keep these tips in mind

Sweep the floor, dust mop or vacuum the floor with the beater bar turned off to remove dirt and grit.
Avoid using a wet mop on your floors as it could dull the floor finish, or worse damage the wood itself.
Be sure to clean spills immediately with either dry or lightly damp cloth.
Avoiding cleaning of spills will RESULT in future DAMAGES to both FLOOR FINISH and WOOD.
Scatter rugs should be placed at entrances in order help keep dirt and other debris from scratching your floors.
Avoid using rubber back rugs as it can discolor floors.
Avoid walking on the floor with cleats or high heels as scratches and dents can result on the floor.
Keep in mind that different wood flooring finishes require different care therefore contact your floor installer to verify the type of finish used on your floors.
